housewife

housewife was a rock band from 2003-2008. Based in Austin, Texas, the band featured Craig Carson (drums, vocals), Afsheen Nomai (bass, vocals), and John Rose (guitar vocals). In addition to playing shows around Austin, the band produced four releases: Triangulation (EP-2008), The Delicate Prey (LP-2005), The Malaise of Modern Living (EP-2004), and Stretch to Fit (LP-2003). Most releases were distributed locally and online, in addition to being available through Rough Trade in London, England. The song "Channel Noir" appeared on Public Service Broadcast 7 on the UK-based Smalltown America label. The band received play on US student radio and a variety of European radio shows.
